Eoin Morgan to lead the England Cricket Team in the champions Trophy 2017 as team announced the final 15 Member players list recently.
Team have included Tall Right Arm Quick Pace bowler Mark wood return to final squad as they comeback from the ankle surgery. Apart of him David Willey left arm quick bowler also return from the injury and include in the squad for champions trophy ODI tournament.
Inclusion of this two quick bowler England are looking very strong seam attack as Wood, Willey along with Jake Ball, Liam Plynkett, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes along with Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali so team have lots of option to pick the best playing xi.
James Whitaker, the national selector, said inclusion of Both wood and willey from injury will add more strength to side
“We have made encouraging progress over the past 18 months in white ball cricket and the squad selected reflects consistency and gives options across all disciplines,” said Whitaker. “It is pleasing that Mark Wood and David Willey have returned to full fitness. They add variety and quality to our bowling strengths and David’s ability as an attacking batsman is also an important element for us.”
England Cricket team before the icc champions trophy have to played two ODI Match against Ireland and then after Three Match series against south africa and that will be perfect preparation ahead of big tournament.
“As we build-up to the ICC Champions Trophy in June, matches against Ireland and South Africa are very important in their own right as we aim to win both series,” said Whitaker.
